Insert Grade Description
(K20) Micrograin uncoated. For cast irons, aluminium alloys, other non-ferrous materials including titaniums and nickel alloys.
(P25) Uncoated. For medium and finish milling of steels.
(P10-P35) CVD coated. Milling grade for steels and some stainless steels.
(P40) Uncoated. For rough medium and finish milling of tough steels and stainless steels including interrupted cutting.

Each die is marked with: diameter, pitch, type of die and gauge number. Non-standard or special dies are marked with an SD number which should be quoted when re-ordering.
